Who are We? Where are We?
Early Story
How are we involved? Reflections
Source of our Strength
Friends of LSU News

Throughout our history, our sisters faithfully shared the good news of Jesus Christ in new places and with new cultures. The call they heard continues to inflame our hearts and gives life to our mission:

‘to be at the heart of the world revealing God’s love’

The Orientations of the 1999 Collegial Assembly drew us to new perspectives, questions and responses.

Gathered around the fire of Holy Union in this Year of Chapter 2005 and contemplating the Gospel, our world, and the reality of our Congregation, we are brought to another moment of choice for mission.

Faithful to our heritage, and in union with one another through the Congregation, we reaffirm our life-long call to the unitive mission of Jesus Christ. For the next six years we commit ourselves to further that mission, supported by ongoing theological reflection and actions that strengthen:

Our Communion for the Reign of God
Our call today
Our Sharing of Gifts and relationships for the Life of All.

O God of passionate life,
Touch us with your goodness.
May we find the truth we seek:
Stir up the embers of our joy
And enflame our hearts anew,
So that the fire of your love
May fill the earth.
Amen
